Meet Your Speech Therapist
Kathryn Billings, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist, Owner
Welcome! I am Kathryn, a pediatric speech therapist based in Denver, CO. For the past decade, I have gained extensive experience working with children of all ages in outpatient clinics, schools, early intervention, and in the acute care setting at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Through my work at the hospital and in early intervention, I saw firsthand how starting therapy early can make such a difference for children and families. With long waitlists and upcoming changes in how early intervention services are delivered, families may have less access to hands on guidance. I created Forte Speech to give children and families timely, practical support during a critical stage of development. I also understand how helpful in-home therapy can be. Having sessions in a familiar space with access to your child’s toys makes therapy more natural and easier to carry over into daily routines.
As a parent myself, I know parents want the best for their kids, but often need support along the way. My goal is to partner with families, guide them through the process, provide practical strategies, and make therapy feel approachable and doable at home.
Outside of Forte Speech, I love to spend time with family and friends, hike, ski, watch live music and sports, and travel alongside my husband, son, and our energetic black lab.
